stay (for) 滞留（一定时间）

如果说 stay home (here) 是表达停留的地点，那么这个短语就可以用来表示停留的时间，stay 后面接时间副词（句子）就可以了。

例句：

I need to stay another day.

我得多留一天。

Maybe we should stay longer if you want to.
