Michael Landon once said, somebody should tell us, right at the start of our lives, that we are dying. Then we might live life to the limit, every minute of every day.

 

Michael Landon曾经说过，在我们刚出生的时候，就应该有人来告诉我们，我们正在走向生命的终点。那样的话，我们就会懂得要活出极致，珍惜每一天的每一分钟。

 

Do it! I say. Whatever you want to do, do it now! There are only so many tomorrows.

我说，行动吧！无论你想做什么，现在就去做！明日复明日，明日何其多！

 

Isn't it amazing? We all know we are dying. We all know there is a chance. There won't be a tomorrow. Yet none of us really live like we know that.

我们都知道，我们在走向生命的终点，我们都知道明天不一定会到来。然而，从我们的所作所为来看，貌似我们并没有意识到这些道理。这很令人惊讶，对吧？

 

Too few of us really appreciate each moment like we know that we are here for a short time only.

明白我们的人生很短并且能够珍惜每一刻的人，太少了。

 

Too few of us live a life we want to live, a life we are proud to live.

能够活出自己想要的样子，并为此感到自豪的人，太少了。

 

Too few of us live with PURPOSE, and MEANING.

有目标地活着，让人生充满意义的人，太少了。

 

Thich Nhat Hanh said, people say walking on water is a miracle, but to me, walking peacefully on earth is the real miracle.

Too few of us are walking around this earth, frantic, stress-filled, and meaning-less.

有太多的人步履匆匆，举止疯狂，压力巨大，活得没有意义。

 

We should open our eyes and REALIZE we're not here for long, and we are all ONE.

我们应该睁大眼睛，真正意识到，人生很短，我们所有人其实是一个整体。

 

We should practice the PEACE we want to see.

我们应该努力练习，让自己获得内心渴望的平静。

 

Show the LOVE we want to FEEL and BE the person we want to BE.

如果我们想感受爱，我们就要付出爱。如果我们想成为什么样的人，我们就要以这样的人的标准要求自己。

 

Wayne Dyer said, loving people live in a loving world. Hostile people live in a hostile world. Same world.

Wayne Dyer说过，内心充满爱意的人，他们生活的世界也是充满爱意的。内心充满仇恨的人，他们生活的世界也是充满仇恨的。然而，这两个世界，是同一个世界。

 

It's a choice. It's a decision. We are living in the same world and some are living in a loving way and some in a hostile way.

这是一个选择，这是一个决定。我们活在同一个世界上，有的人内心充满爱意，有的人心中满是仇恨。

 

We're not here for a long time, let's make it a joy-filled time.

人生很短，让我们把人生变得快乐吧。

 

You want more time to yourself? Good. Spend more time by yourself.

你想让自己拥有更多的时间？好，那就多花时间独处。

 

If it is important to you, it's important to your world.

如果这对你很重要，那么它对你的世界就很重要。

 

It will make you better, and that will make those around you better too.

它会让你变得更好，这也会让你周围的人变得更好。

 

We should remind ourselves that we are all dying.

我们应该提醒自己，我们正在走向生命的终点。

 

Never should we carry the burden of hate, of regret, or disappointment.

永远不要让仇恨、懊悔、沮丧成为我们的负担。

 

We ONLY have this moment and this is the only moment we can decide to free ourselves from the past and LIVE FULLY.

我们拥有的，只有现在。唯有在此时此刻，我们能做出选择，对过去释怀，活出最精彩的样子。

 

NOW is the only moment.

此时此刻，就是唯一的时刻。
