首先，let's warm up，我们还是先来热热身。在第17课中我们讲到了一个短语—— ace in the hole. It means a secret advantage, for ready to use if you need to. 可以翻译为：杀手锏，必杀技，锦囊妙计，秘密王牌，最后王牌，看家本领，绝招，秘密武器，强大的备用手段(或方法)等等意思。

今天说一下这个短语的用法。因为ace in the hole是个idiom，即：习惯用语。有的习惯用语在一些名词前是不能加上任何修饰词的。但是这个短语名词ace前面可以加不定冠词an和物主代词one's，也可以加定冠词the。下面我们来看三个例句。

例句1：High technology remains the ace in the hole for foreign companies.高科技仍然是外国公司的王牌。
