第一、掌握strength有在困境中有很大的勇气和坚定的决心不因困难、威胁或者是诱惑等因素而改变自己原来的想法、信仰等等。It means "the quality of being brave and determined in a difficult situation". 译为：毅力;意志力;坚强决心;坚毅刚强。 Let's look at the following sentences. 1. During this ordeal he was able to draw strength from his faith. 在这次磨难中，他从他的信仰中吸取到力量。(备注：During是“在某种情况的一段时间”的意思。Draw是“汲取”“吸取”“获取”的意思。Draw strength意思是吸取力量。Draw strength from意思是从...吸取，汲取，获取力量。)She has a remarkable inner strength. 她有非凡的意志力。(备注：Inner strength是“内功”的意思。Have a strength意思是具有，拥有意志力。) 3. You've shown great strength of character. 你表现得很有毅力。(备注： strength of character 性格坚强 strength of will 意志坚强 strength of mind 思想坚强 show strength of something 显现出在某当面的坚强)第二、掌握用crisis表述“处于危机中”“处于紧要关头”这个意思介词用in，即：in a crisis。Look at the following sentences. 1. He is a man who can be depended on in a crisis. 他是一个在患难时可以依靠的人。2. I learned that people can keep calm in a crisis. 我领会到即使处于危机中人还是可以沉着冷静处事的。3. He is a person you can turn to in a crisis. 他是一个你在紧急关头可以求助的人。(备注：turn to... 转向依靠某人)4. She always come out in a crisis. 她总是在危机时出现。(备注：come out 出现 例如：She came out at the party last week. 她在上周的派对上出现了。)第三、就是注意不定冠词在名词前如果这个名词的音标的第一个音标是元音的话，就要用an，不要用a。我们都知道这个概念，可是有时候会忽视，就一分之差就不能上北大，这时我曾经的经历。越是细微之处，越是要谨慎再谨慎。
