Stewardess: That will be three rows up on the right. It's the window seat. Is this your bag?

Stewardess: Well, it's too big. It might fall down and hurt somebody. Could you place it under the seat in front

Eric: Sure. Would you please help me adjust the air flow? I feel a bit cold.

Stewardess: Yes. You just turn the knob here above you in whichever direction you like. You can shut it off by turning it
tightly to the right. Would you like a blanket?

1.“in front of”和“in the front of”虽然只差一个定冠词“the”，但意思却完全不同。“in front of”表示“在…前面”，指在某事物
的前面，没有接触，而“in the front of”表示“在…前部”，其位置是处在这个事物之中，只是位置靠前。
2.“shut off”意思是“关掉，切断”，可以用来表示断水、断电，关掉煤气、电源等。例如：They shut off the gas and electricity in
their house before they set off for vacation.（他们在离家去度假前，把煤气和电都关掉了。）“shut off”的同义词有：tum off，
switch off：反义词有：turn on, switch on。

机舱内的广播语
