At least 7 people are dead after a tour bus and a semi-truck crashed early Sunday on a freeway near Palm Springs, California. The California Highway Patrol says at least 30 others were injured. There's no word yet on what caused the crash.

He met with Kurdish leaders whose forces have launched a new defensive in the operation to wrest Mosul from the militants and with U.S. service members who are not far from the battle.
