And still, as each repeated pleasure tired,
当每一个重复的玩乐疲惫时
Succeeding sports the mirthful band inspired:—

The dancing pair, that simply sought renown

By holding out to tire each other down;

The swain, mistrustless of his smutted face,

While secret laughter tittered round the place;

Sweet was the sound, when oft, at evening's close,

These all, in sweet confusion, sought the shade,
