As people rely more and more on technology to solve problems, the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate.

Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.

五问：

（1）“think for themselves”是什么意思？是“为自己着想”还是“独立思考”？

（2）“独立思考”是指什么？如何定义“独立思考”将使原命题成立？反之，如何定义则使原命题不成立？如果“独立思考”是一种个人能力，原命题成立吗？如果“独立思考”是人与生俱来的一种本能，则原命题成立吗？

（3）大家能不能举出几个人类通过技术解决难题的例子？更具体一些，想想十年或者二十年前与现在的对比。比如，二十年前老师教学更多地还是在黑板上讲解并辅以板书，现在用多媒体计算机辅助教学已经很普遍了。想想“人们更多地使用技术解决困难”中的“更多”两个字体现在哪些方面？是涉及的领域更多了吗？还是难度增加了？又或者是其他的方面？

（4）你相信技术终将帮助人们思考一切吗？请举出一两个例子证明有一些问题是现有的技术无法解决的，只能通过人类自身的思考来解答。例如：人权、民主问题，文明冲突问题。

（5）如果原命题成立，会有什么样的结果？是否会造成人类过度依赖科学技术，被动地接受信息，而不愿意动脑思考，遇到新情况、新问题时无法有效应对？如果不成立，又会有什么样的结果呢？人类虽然已经离不开科技，但是科技的产生和进步是否也是人类独立思考的产物？科学技术把我们从琐碎的生活问题中解放出来，让我们有更多的时间和精力去考虑更多问题，在这个过程中我们的独立思考能力是提高了还是下降了？科学技术与人类思考之间的关系是彼此独立而相互矛盾的吗？独立思考的能力高低取决于什么？是科学技术还是人类本身？
