65　the other和another

　the other 和another 都可以用作代词，表示“另一个”，但the other 表示已知的两个人或物中的另一个，another 则指不定数目（3个或3个以上）中的任何一个，或同类中的另一个。

This shirt is a little small. Please give me another . 这件衬衫有点小，请给我拿另一件。

That's quite another matter. 那是另一个问题。

She held a pen in one hand and a book in the other (hand). 她一只手拿着一支钢笔，另一只手拿着一本书。
