1　on the right 意为“在右边”，on sb.'s right 意为“在某人的右边”，可作状语或表语。

2　to the right of sb. 意为“在某人的右边”，只能作状语。

He sits to the right of her. 他坐在她的右边 。

=He sits on her right .
