1 earth 作“地球”解时，前面需加定冠词the 。earth 表示“人间，世界”时，为不可数名词，前面可用或不用定冠词。earth 表示“泥土，土壤”时为不可数名词。
The earth is bigger than the moon. 地球比月亮大。
