be worth sth.用于“数量、持续时间等”的名词之后，表示某物价值多少金额。

The new car cost a lot of money, but it’s certainly worth it.

易混辨析

worth/worthy/worthwhile

“be worth+n.”结构中，当名词为金钱时，表示“……值……钱”。

be worth doing sth.　……某事值得被做

“be worthy of+n./doing”当名词为抽象名词时，表示 “……值得……”。

be worthy to be done/be worthy of being done
