我们必须让经济迅速增长，使每一位求职者得以就业。在出现经济衰退、恐怖分子袭击、工商界丑闻以及股票市场下跌之后，今天，我们的经济正在恢复 ── 但是增长速度仍不够快，或者说不够强劲。面对失业率上升，我们国家需要有更多的小企业开张，更多的公司投资和发展，更多的雇主张贴"招工"告示。
We must have an economy that grows fast enough to employ every man and woman who seeks a job. After recession, terrorist attacks, corporate scandals and stock market declines, our economy is recovering - yet it's not growing fast enough, or strongly enough. With unemployment rising, our nation needs more small businesses to open, more companies to invest and expand, more employers to put up the sign that says, "Help Wanted."
