Dear Editor，

As a student of our school，I've heard that the editors of the English Newspaper are making preparations for the new version of the paper，in which there'll be a new column taking the place of an old one．I'd like to put forward my suggestion，hoping it'll be of some help．

Among the three columns of which one will be canceled，I'll choose the entertainment column．Several factors contribute to my advice．Firstly，the entertainment world has little to do with our school life，nor does it have much positive effect on the students' growth．Therefore，it is not appropriate for the English Newspaper of our school to include this column．Besides，informed of too much information about entertainment，the student may attach less importance to their studies，worsening their academic performance．

In my opinion，the feedback column should be added to the new version of the paper．The reasons are listed as follows．First of all，feedback from the readers is what you can refer to when you want to improve the paper．It is the readers who are in a position to comment on the quality of the paper．What's more，the feedback column enables the students to interact with the editors，which may stimulate their interest and add to their sense of participation in the paper．

I expect you to take my advice and I'm looking forward to the new version！
