With the weather getting chilly and dry，fires are more inclined to occur than usual．Now we're writing to you to inform you something about fire．

As we all know，fire is of great danger．It destroys possessions and razes buildings，and gets people burnt，sometimes even causes death．But if we can promote our awareness of preventing fires and how to use it properly，we can change fire from a cruel master into a good servant．As the importance of preventing fires is self-evident，we are giving you some tips for you to follow．

First and foremost，avoid playing with fire．You should use a fire only under supervision or when the safety is completely ensured．Secondly，learn some basic things on fire safety，which is available to you either on the Internet or on our post besides the school gate．Make sure that you know every emergency exit in the school buildings．Then，you can choose to establish fire safety regulations of your class and try to enforce them so that the sense of fire safety can be deeply rooted in the students' hearts．Finally，the Students' Union is planning a fire-fighting passageway．We're expecting you to come and we believe you'll feel amply rewarded after．
