I am Mary from XX School，located in your community．I'm glad to be a volunteer this weekend together with my classmates to help the old．

Here comes the aging society，and more and more old people stay at home without their children's company．Even worse，the majority of them have little idea of how to handle electronic devices like smartphones．As a result，we think it essential to teach them how to use smartphones properly．We have decided to give a lecture on the operation of smartphone apps this Saturday afternoon in our community hall．Whoever has trouble in using smartphones is welcomed．

Several reasons can account for our lecture．First and foremost，if they master the skill of operating Wechat and Weibo，they are sure to strengthen the ties with their children and old friends without leaving home，simply by chatting and sending photos．It will make a big difference in making up for the lack of face-to-face communication．Furthermore，once they experience the technology advancement，they will marvel at plentiful information on the Internet and find their horizons broadened．Last but not least，some smartphone games intended for the old can enable them to lift up their spirits and keep their mind active．
