Writing 1 　You are living in the Rose Residential Area，which is newly-built and not very large．At the back of the residential area is a large piece of empty space．People living here are always giving their ideas about how to use it．Now talk about your idea about how to use the empty space and give the reasons．

In my point of view，the empty land should be a perfect place to build a park．The park should be covered by plants，and it is desirable that benches and a swing can be seen in it．

Needless to say，the park to be built here will be great aids to the nearby environment．The residential area has already witnessed artificial beauties of modern high-rises，and the beauty of nature must be appreciated．The plants here will ultimately improve air quality as well as immerse the entire area in a sweet smell of flowers．Birds will also be attracted here，and the environment of the community，as we can imagine，will be definitely appealing．Besides its contribution to the environment，the park will also promote better public health．With improved air conditions，the residents in our area will be less likely to suffer from lung diseases．Moreover，the park will also serve as a tempting place for people to walk about．Regular wandering in fresh air obviously benefits one's physical well-being．In addition，scientific researches have pointed out that green is good for eyes，and that's why I personally believe that the park will help reduce poor eyesight rate．What's more，the park will drag people from isolated flats and encourage the residents to communicate with each other．Children，for example，will be close friends through the swing in plan．Pet-owners can also share their experience in raising their loved ones．The park，as a public treasure and a social connector，will generate our friendly and pleasant community spirit．

In a word，a park to be built on the empty space will benefit Rose Residential Area environmentally，physically and socially．I look forward to the fascinating changes it will bring if it becomes a reality.
