It is a common phenomenon today that many cities in China are disturbed by haze，which can be illustrated by the following picture I'd like to describe．

At first sight，you may have difficulty telling haze from fog．Pale yellow is added，making haze even harder to look through．On a day of haze，it seems that up in the sky spreads a large grey curtain limitless in scale，which isolates the world beneath from the sun and other stars．I was once deeply shocked at the scene where cars and streets faded out of view as haze was being flown by wind，and the vehicles finally disappeared behind the cover of haze．How dangerous，especially in such busy streets of main cities．Besides，people in haze are always wearing mouth masks，because haze releases a certain kind of smell and can cause people to suffer from symptoms like sore throat．

Haze has something to do with both inappropriate human activities and natural changes of the environment．Therefore，in order to solve this problem，it is suggested that policies be adopted to restrict industrial factories from giving off unprocessed waste gas．As for us ordinary citizens，we can also do our part by choosing green means of transportation like cycling and walking，as well as resist purchasing the goods which bring about much air pollution in the process of manufacture．If there is an urgent need to get the staying haze off the area，we can make use of modern technology to bring man-made rain．

About all，I believe that the essential principle in solving problems like haze lies in our awareness that a balance must be kept between economic development and environment protection．
