A: I'm  looking  for  some  gloves .

B: What  kind  would  you  like , wool , leather  or  fur ?

甲：毛的。
A: Wool , please .

乙：这双可以吗？物美价廉。
B: Are  these  all  night ? They  wear  well  and  don't  cost  much .

甲：可以试一试吗？
A: Can  I try  them  on ?

乙：当然。
B:Certainly .

甲：不错，就这双吧.
A: I'll  take  this  pair .

(Ray  needs  a pair  of  gloves  for  sking . He  approaches  a salesgirl  in  a sporting  goods  store )

Salesgirl : May  I help  you ?

Ray : I am  looking  for  some  gloves  for  skiing . I've  been  to  three  stores  and  so  far  I haven't  found  anything  I like .

Salesgirl : Perhaps  this  pair  will  serve  your  purpose .

Ray : Yes , they  look  good . In  fact  they  are  the  best  one  I've  seen .But  they  are  too  expensive .

Salesgirl : Can  you  wait  for  a few  days ?

Ray : Why ?

Salesgirl : We're  having  a sale . Beginning  on  Saturday , these  gloves  will  be  half  price .

Ray : Half  price ? I could  handle  that . I'll  be  back  next  week . Thank  you  for  telling  me .
