Giselle: Oh. Good morning, Robert. Oh! That's too thoughtful of you. Thank you! Oh, I hope you had nice dreams.

Robert:I think I'm still in one.

Giselle: This is a magical room. Where does the water come from?

Robert: Uh, well, the, the water comes from the pipes.

Giselle: And where do the pipes get it?

Robert: Uh, I don't know. From... wherever the pipes get it.

Giselle: Oh. It is magical.

Nancy: Hey, girlfriend.

Morgan: Hi, Nancy.

Nancy: What do you say, you ready to kick it?

Morgan: Kick what?

Nancy: Honey, why do you still have your pj's on?

Morgan: It's been pretty busy around here.

Nancy: Wow. It's really neat in here. Did you guys get a maid?

Morgan: No. Not exactly.

Giselle: Don't worry. My friends will do that. Ah…

Robert: Nancy?

Giselle: Oh, hello!

Nancy: Who is this?

Robert: This is nothing. This is nothing.

Giselle: I'm Giselle!

Robert: This is nobody.

Giselle: I was on my way to the castle to get married...

Nancy: She's married?

Robert: No, she's not. Not yet! She’s not yet.

Nancy: What does that mean, "yet"?

Robert: She was lost. I was trying to help.

Nancy: With finding the shower?

Giselle: The shower. The shower is wonderful, Nancy. You really-

Nancy: I'm sure it is.

Robert: That's enough. Thank you. Calm down. Please, let's talk.

Nancy: Talk about what, Robert? How I never stay the night? Because we both agreed, Morgan’s here, and you have to maintain some boundaries and I thought, "I'm so lucky. He's sensitive!” I didn't realize you were worried about crowd control.

Robert: OK, We'll talk there.

Nancy: Don't bet on it.

Robert: What about taking Morgan to school? You know, some grown-up girl-bonding time.

Nancy: What, so you can have some grown-up girl-bonding time? I don't think so.

Robert: But... just...

1. That's too thoughtful of you.

意思是：你真是太体贴了。这里“thoughtful”是“体贴的意思”，跟“considerate”是一样的意思。这个词还有“沉思”的意思，比如：thoughtful looks沉思的表情。

2. I think I'm still in one.

这句话的意思是“我想我还在梦里呢。”这里的one指的是刚才提到的nice dream。

3. kick it

这里的kick是“开始做某事”的意思，这是一种口语化的用法。

4. Why do you still have your pj's on

意思是“穿着睡衣”。“pj’s”指的是“pajamas”，睡衣。“Have something on”就是“穿着……”。

5. maintain some boundaries

意思是“划清界限，保持距离”。“Maintain”是“保持或维持某事物”，同时，它也有“在财务上支持（某人）；赡养”的意思。比如：This school is maintained by a charity. 该校由一慈善机构资助。而“boundary”是“界限；分界线”的意思。而我们经常说的“无限的（形容词）”则是“boundless”了。

6. crowd control

意思是“activity of controlling a crowd”，这里可以理解为 “人多不好控制/协调”。这里的“crowd”指的是“（很多）人”，而“control”是一个名词。Nancy一进门就看到房间里突然多了一个“出水芙蓉”，当然就觉得人“多”喽！

7. Don't bet on it.

这句话的意思是“想都别想”、“别指望它！”。“Bet on”是“在……下注的意思”。比如：I don't bet on horses. 我不赌跑马。

文化面面观

Grown-up girl-bonding time 和女友相处的时间

Bonging time 是指“和别人一起共度一段时光”，那么girl-bonding time 就是“a chance or time to get close to another girl，get together and be friends and talk”，建立和维护、享受女性之间的友谊。也有male-bonding time，就是男士们相聚聊天、维持友谊的时间。

至于grown-up，Nancy is obviously a grown-up because she's a woman, but usually kids like to be called "a big girl" or "grown-up" (even though they're not, they're just children) to feel older/respected. 但是在电影中可不是这样，Morgan只有6岁，还不想要什么grown-up girl-bonding time，但是身为父亲的Robert则说“You won't always be (six years old).”搞笑之余又令人感到辛酸。
