　　have a face that would stop a clock: 形容人长相毫无吸引力，甚至会妨碍钟表的正常运行。这个短语的贬义很强。

　　a dog: 用来指某人长得很丑，或者没有什么可取得性格特质。这是一个贬义的短语。

　　have a face that only a mother could love: 指某人长得很丑或毫无吸引力，以致于唯一欣赏这个人的就是他/她的妈妈，因为只有母亲对孩子的爱是无条件的，无论孩子的长相如何。
