清明是中国的二十四节气之一，每年4月4-6日。节日过后，温度将会上升，降雨量会增加。这正是春天耕作和播种的好时节。但是清明节不仅是一个指导农活的节气，还是一个纪念的节日。每到清明节，所有的墓地都挤满了来扫墓和献祭的人。这一习俗现在已经大大简化了。稍稍清扫坟墓后，人们就拿出食物、鲜花和死者最喜爱的东西，然后烧香烧纸币，在墓碑牌位前鞠躬。

The Qingming Festival is one of the 24 seasonal division points in China, falling on April 4-6 each year. After the festival, the temperature will rise up and rainfall increases. It is the high time for spring plowing and sowing. But the Qingming Festival is not only a seasonal point to guide farm work, it is more a festival of commemoration. On each Qingming Festival, all cemeteries are crowded with people who came to sweep tombs and offer sacrifices. The customs have been greatly simplified today. After slightly sweeping the tombs, people offer food, flowers and favorites of the dead, then burn incense and paper money and bow before the memorial tablet.
