新四军军部旧址由军部司令部、政治部、大会堂等10处构成，分布在云岭山与四顾山之间的10个自然村中，占地面积约3万平方米，是全国爱国主义教育示范基地。1961年3月4日，国务院公布云岭新四军军部旧址为首批全国重点文物保护单位。现在为国家AAAA级旅游景区。
云岭公路右方是的白果树、丁家山两个村子，是当年中共皖南特委和中共中央东南局所在地。对面的陈氏祠堂是新四军军部大礼堂，周恩来同志当年就在这个大礼堂给新四军指战员作报告。新四军司令部设在罗里村，当年叶挺、项英同志就住在村里的种墨园和大夫第两座宅院里，村东的叶子女河上有叶挺军长亲自设计的叶挺桥。
