[00:21.64]We can take the mysterious, hazy future and carve [00:25.25]out of it anything that we can imagine, [00:27.54]just like a sculptor [00:29.19]carves a statue from a shapeless stone. [00:31.59]We are all in the position of the farmer. [00:35.86]If we plant a good seed, [00:37.17]we reap a good harvest. [00:38.70]If our seed is poor and full of weeds, [00:41.21]we reap a useless crop. [00:43.07]If we plant nothing at all, [00:44.82]we harvest nothing at all. [00:46.57]I want the future to be better than the past. [00:49.63]I don’t want it contaminated by the mistakes and errors [00:53.03]with which history is filled.      "We are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book whose pages are infinite..."

     I do not know who wrote those words,but I have always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want to make it.We can take the mysterious,hazy future  and carve out of it anything that we can imagine,just as a sculptor carves a statue from a shapeless stone.

     We are all in the position of the farmer.If we plant a good seed,we reap a good harvest.If our seed is poor and full of weeds,we reap a useless crop.If we plant nothing at all,we harvest nothing at all.I want the future to be better than the past.I don't want it contaminated by the mistakes and errors with which history is filled.We should all be concerned about the future because that is where we will spend the remainder of our lives. The past is gone and static.Nothing we can do will change it.The future is before us and dynamic.Everything we do will affect it.Each day brings with it new frontiers, in our homes and in our business, if we will only recognize them.We are just at the beginning of the progress in every field of human endeavor.

     我不知道这句话是谁说的,但它却时时提醒着我,未来是怎样的,全由自己来创造.我们可以把充满神秘且又无法掌控的未来世界按照自己的想象精心构思出来,就像雕刻家可以把毫无意境的石头雕塑成精美的雕像一样.
     和农民一样,如果我们播下的是优良的种子,那么很快就会大获丰收.但如果我们种下的是劣质的种子,且任杂草肆意生长,那么,我们的收成就会比现在更美好.我们不应该多想想未来,因为正是它将陪伴我们度过余下的漫漫人生.过去的一切就让它过去吧.因为我们根本无法改变过去的一切.充满青春气息的未来世界正在前方等待着我们.我们现在所做的一切都会影响到未来.每一天,我们都会站在新的起跑线上,无论是在生活中,还是在工作中,只要我们意识到这一点:我们要努力达到每一个人生的既定目标.而现在,一切都只是刚刚开始.
     每一天都是新的,它既不属于过去,也不属于未来,它是我们能够把握的真实存在.不必在意于昨日的光彩,也不必沉湎于过去的遗憾,"一切都只是刚刚开始",把握住了现在,也就把握住了未来.
