　　today is my grandpa's birthday. our family went back to my grandpa's home in the morning. we got together to have a big family dinner to celebrate his birthday. we bought a big birthday cake and gave some presents to my grandpa.

　　2.买水果 Buying fruit

　　One Sunday morning, I was in a fruit store with my mother. I like fruit very much, so I want to buy some fruit. There are many fruits in the shop. Look, watermelon is big and green, banana is yellow and delicious, apple is red and sweet. I like pears very much, so my mother bought me three kilograms of pears. My father likes bananas, so my mother bought him two kilograms of bananas.

　　We are very happy.

　　星期天的早上，我和妈妈在一家水果商店。我平时非常喜欢水果，所以我想买一些水果。商店里有很多水果。看到了西瓜又大又绿，香蕉又黄又好吃，苹果又红又甜。我非常喜欢梨，所以我妈妈给我买了三公斤梨。我爸爸喜欢香蕉，所以我妈妈给他买了两公斤香蕉。

　　3. 开班会 Our Class Meeting

　　Last Friday afternoon, we held the last class meeting of this term in the classroom. All the students and our head teacher attended.

　　We had a lively discussion about our life during the holiday. Each of us spoke up at the meeting. After discussion, we all decided to study hard in the holidays, so that our grades next term will be better and better.

　　4. 我的新鞋 My New Shoes

　　Today, I was so excited to buy a new pair of shoes, because I have saved the money for a month. In order to get enough money, I controlled myself to eat less snacks. What's more, I helped my mother to do her housework to get more pocket money. When I get the new shoes, I was so proud of myself. I realized a small goal.

　　今天，我很兴奋地给自己买了一双新鞋子，因为我已经存了一个月的钱。为了得到足够的钱，我控制自己少吃零食，而且，我还通过帮妈妈做家务来获得更多的零花钱。当我买到新鞋的事实，我真为自己感到骄傲，我实现了一个小目标了。
