MAN:Okay,Mr.Taylor, let's go ahead and begin.First of all .tell me about your last job.

Mr.Talor: Well, as stated on my resume, I worked for five years at Hi Tech Computers.

MAN:Okay, Hi Tech.And what do you know about computer networks and operating systems including DOS ,Windows ,MacintoshOS ,and UNIX?

Mr,Taylor: Umm... well... I did come in contact with computers every night at my last job.

Man: Hum!...And how about web site authoring skills?

We are looking for someone to create and manage our company's web site which would include the development, configuration,and use of CGI scripts.
我们正在物色一个人开发和管理公司的网站，包括网站的发展、配置以及ＣＧＩ手写板的运用。
MrTaylor: Umm... uh,web page .web page ,Huh...I don't think I've read that book ,and I'm afraid I've never used those CGI things.

Man: Huh? And what about experience with Java or JavaScript?

Mr.Taylor: Well... I think I've tried Java at a foreign coffee shop one time ,it that what you mean.

Man: Okay ,Mr.Taylor, I think I have all the information I need!
好吧！泰勒先生，我想，关于你的情况我已经都清楚了。
Mr.Taylor: Oh, and I really like computer games .I play them everyday.
喔，我真的喜欢电脑游戏。我每天都玩游戏的。
Man: Right ,right.Thank Mu.Taylor we'll be in touch.

Rene and Grant are at a job interview.
Rene和Grant在进行工作面试。
Rene: Well Grant.I like your resume ,but there's one thing that bothers me.

Grant: What is it?

Rene: Don't worry ,it's not like I can't hold down a steady job. I have reasons for leaving each company.

Rene: Good ,So what were your reasons?

Grant: Well ,the first one I left because they expected me to work nights and weekends without overtime whenever they needed me.

Rene; Ok, I can understand.

We might ask the same thing here but we do promise overtime.

Grant: Good. Well let's see... The second company was the opposite:they never gave me anything to do.

I just sat and waited for them to give me something to do.

Rene:So you like to work? That's good.

We promise to make full use of you. The third company?

Grant; It was a horrible commute I had to wake up at 5:30am each morning to get to work.

Rene: Understandable.And the fourth?

Grant: I just didn't get along with my boss .

We had different personalities and work styles and they didn't work well together.

Rene: I see, Well, we'll think about it and get back to you.ok?
