【情景再现】

Catherine公司开发了一项新产品，但是反馈信息表明，新产品不是很受顾客青睐，公司决定各部门在一起开个会，设计一个营销方案。会议上，研发部抱怨市场工作没有做好，市场部抱怨服务工作不到位，大家互相指责。Catherine见状，连忙大声说：We need to sit down and brainstorm ideas for a new marketing slogan for the new product.

美国人在面临难题时往往会坐在一起交换意见，找到解决问题的方案。不管是在私营公司，或是在政府机构里，这种现象都是常见的。美国人把这种做法叫做brainstorm头脑风暴。brain是“脑子”，和在一起，brainstorm这个词意思就是“群策群力”。这个词既可作名词也可作动词。
