1.there be的时态

There is still room for improvement.还有改进余地。（一般现在时）

There is going to be/will be an English film tonight.

今晚将有一场英语电影。（一般将来时）

There was a lot to be done.有很多事要做。（一般过去时）

There have been a lot of inquiries.提出的询问有很多。（现在完成时）

There had been many such occasions.曾有许多这种情况。（过去完成时）

Then there would be endless quarrels.那么会有吵不完的架。（过去将来时）

2.there be的被动语态

There is said to be plenty of oil off our coast.据说我国沿海有大量的石油。

There are known to be thousands of different species of beetles.

众所周知，甲虫有几千种。

There is expected to be an announcement about the building next month.

预计会在下个月公布要建大楼的计划。
