丝绸之路与欧亚经济联盟对接

　　President Xi Jinping said he and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to integrate China's "Silk Road Economic Belt" initiative with Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union, which would make the interests of the two sides more intertwined and better serve the two countries' needs for development and revival.

　　习近平主席称，他与俄罗斯总统普京商定，将中方丝绸之路经济带同俄方主导的欧亚经济联盟对接，深化双方利益交融，更好促进两国发展振兴。

　　此次习近平欧亚三国之行中访问的俄罗斯、白俄罗斯(Belarus)和哈萨克斯坦(Kazakhstan)，都是俄罗斯主导的欧亚经济联盟(The Eurasian Economic Union)的成员。该联盟于今年1月1日正式生效，目前有5个成员，除了俄白哈三国，亚美尼亚(Armenia)、吉尔吉斯斯坦(Kyrgyzstan)也是成员。塔吉克斯坦(Tajikistan)目前是该联盟的候选国(candidate country)。

　　5月8日，习近平与俄总统普京会面后，中俄双方共同签署《关于丝绸之路经济带建设与欧亚经济联盟建设对接合作的联合声明》。根据声明，双方将开放更多贸易和投资通道(open up more trade and investment channels)，推进各领域经济合作，为共同建立大型自贸区(free trade zone)打下坚实基础。自贸区预计将跨越四国领土，未来还有可能拓宽(The area to be covered by the free trade zone will include four nations or possibly more in the future)。

　　丝绸之路经济带将成为欧亚经济联盟与亚太经济圈(Asia-Pacific economic circles)相连接的桥梁，为欧亚经济一体化(Eurasian economic integration)进程注入新活力。
