在中国文联、中国作协成立70周年之际，中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平发来贺信，代表党中央表示热烈祝贺，向全国广大文艺工作者致以诚挚问候。习近平在贺信中指出，文艺事业是党和人民的重要事业，文艺战线是党和人民的重要战线。

President Xi Jinping has sent a congratulatory letter to honor the 70th anniversary of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the China Writers Association. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, extended greetings to writers and artists across the country on behalf of the CPC Central Committee. The development of literature and art is an important cause of the Party and the people, and the literary and art front is a vital front of the Party and the people, Xi noted.

【知识点】

中国文联和中国作协均成立于1949年7月。中国文联由56个团体会员组成，现有全国性文艺家协会个人会员13.5万人。中国作协有团体会员46个，个人会员1.2万人。新中国成立70年来，广大文艺工作者响应党的号召，积极投身社会主义革命和建设、改革开放伟大实践，创作出一批又一批脍炙人口的优秀文艺作品，塑造了一批又一批经典艺术形象。特别是党的十八大以来，广大文艺工作者坚持以人民为中心的工作导向，深入生活、扎根人民，不断增强脚力、眼力、脑力、笔力，推动我国文艺事业呈现出良好发展态势，文学、戏剧、电影、电视、音乐、舞蹈、美术、摄影、书法、曲艺、杂技、民间文艺、文艺评论等都取得了丰硕成果，弘扬了民族精神和时代精神，为实现国家富强、社会进步、人民幸福作出了十分重要的贡献。

人民是历史的创造者，是时代的雕塑者。广大文艺工作者要观照人民的生活、命运、情感，表达人民的心愿、心情、心声，立志创作出在人民中传之久远的精品力作。

People are the creators of history and sculptors of time. Artists should care about people's lives, voices and emotion, and create works that inspire the people and are appreciated by the people.
