8月30日，中国互联网络信息中心发布《中国互联网络发展状况统计报告》。报告指出，截至2019年6月，我国网民规模达8.54亿，互联网普及率达61.2%;我国手机网民规模达8.47亿，网民使用手机上网的比例达99.1%。

The number of internet users in China had hit 854 million as of June 2019, with the internet availability rate reaching 61.2 percent, according to a report on China's internet development released Friday. A total of 847 million Chinese people used mobile phones to surf the internet, accounting for 99.1 percent of the total netizens, stated the report issued by the China Internet Network Information Center.

《中国互联网络发展状况统计报告》从互联网基础建设、网民规模及结构、互联网应用发展、互联网政务应用发展和互联网安全等多方面展示了2019年上半年我国互联网发展状况。2019年上半年，中国互联网发展呈现出六个特点。一是IPv6地址数量全球第一，“.CN”域名数量持续增长。二是互联网普及率超过六成，移动互联网使用持续深化。三是下沉市场释放消费动能，跨境电商等领域持续发展。四是网络视频运营更加专业，娱乐内容生态逐步构建。五是在线教育应用稳中有进，弥补乡村教育短板。六是在线政务普及率近六成，服务水平持续向好。
