China officially unveiled its long-planned national oil and gas pipeline company, the China Oil & Gas Piping Network Corporation, on Monday as part of important measures toward deepening reform in the sector and ensuring the safe and stable supply of oil and gas.

经国务院批准，新组建的国家石油天然气管网集团有限公司由国务院国有资产监督管理委员会代表国务院履行出资人职责，列入国务院国有资产监督管理委员会履行出资人职责的企业名单。国家管网公司主要职责是负责全国油气干线管道、部分储气调峰设施的投资建设;负责干线管道互联互通及与社会管道联通，形成“全国一张网”;负责原油、成品油、天然气的管道输送，并统一负责全国油气干线管网运行调度，定期向社会公开剩余管输和储存能力，实现基础设施向所有符合条件的用户公平开放等。

组建国家石油天然气管网公司是深入贯彻落实习近平总书记“四个革命、一个合作”能源安全新战略，深化石油天然气体制改革和国资国企改革的重要举措，对于提高油气资源配置效率，促进油气行业高质量发展，保障国家能源安全，更好为经济社会发展服务，意义重大、影响深远。
