1. Don't you agree? 你同意吗?

2. Can I ask if you agree with his argument? 请问你是否同意他的论点?

3. I wonder if you would agree money doesn't mean happiness.

我想知道你们是否同意有钱并不代表幸福。

4. You don't disagree, do you? 你不会反对的，是吗?

5. I absolutely agree. 我绝对赞成。

6. I suppose so. 我想是这样的。

7. Oh, I agree entirely. 噢，我完全同意。

8. I agree in principle, but our emotions exist anyway. 原则上我同意，但是还有一些情绪。

Dialogue 1

W: What do you think of the new television channel? Aren't the programs awful?

你觉得这个新的电视频道怎么样?节目不糟糕吗?

M: I quite agree with you. They are terrible. They are complete waste of time, but my wife disagrees with me.

我十分同意你。它们很糟糕。完全是在浪费时间，但是我的妻子不同意我的看法。

W: Actually, what bothers me is the violence. There are far too many detective and police shows.

M: I couldn't agree with you more. There aren't enough educational programs, and even the news shows are not well done.

W: You are absolutely right. They are too brief. They don't tell you anything.

M: What a great weekend that was!

M: China will finally become a superpower in my opinion. What do you think?

在我看来，中国最终会成为一个超级大国。你觉得呢?

W: I'm afraid I can't agree with you. Chinese leaders have already said China will never be a superpower.

恐怕我不同意你的看法。中国的领导人总是强调中国永远不会是超级大国。

M: But things will change, you know.

但是你知道的，事情都会改变。

W: Other countries may, but I don't believe China will.

其它国家可能会，但是我相信中国不会。

W: I though that quite a good film, didn't you?

我觉得那是一部很好的电影，是吗?

M: Yes, I did.

W: It's one of the best that have come out this year, I think.

M: I quite agree with you.

M: Did you go to the movie yesterday?

W: Yes, I did.

M: What did you think of it?

你感觉怎么样?

W: I don't think much of the film.

M: I think it is the worst one I have ever seen.

W: Oh, I'm not sure I agree with you. It was not a good one, but it was not the worst one. Actually, it wasn't too bad.

噢，我肯定不同意你的意见。它不是一部优秀的电影，但是它也不是最差的。事实上，它不是很差。

M: I can't think the same.

我认为不是这样。

W: What's more, some scenes were good, much fit for the children.

W: Why do you want to spend your summer days in a mountain village?

为什么你要在山村过夏天?

M: I think a mountain village is splendid!

我觉得山村极好。

W: I don't agree with you. It's too small to live.

我不同意你的看法。山村太小了，不好居住。

M: It has fresh air, and it is nicer than a big town.

它有新鲜的空气，比大城镇好多了。

W: I disagree, a big town is more lively.

我不同意，大城镇更加充满活力。

M: But I like a small mountain village. The big town is noisy. How charming it is when walking along the hill!

但是我喜欢小山村。大城镇太吵杂了。在山里面行走多引人入胜啊!

W: Well, all right, I agree with you about that, but I still prefer a big town.

额，行，我同意你的观点，但是我仍然更喜欢大城镇。

M: My colleague thinks the government should give all the students a weekly wage. I'm not sure I agree with him. Some students would want to be students for the whole of their life; however, my colleague doesn't think so. He said that he doesn't mean a high wage, just an allowance. I don't think it would be a good idea. I think it would be better for the government to give students an interest free loan. That's what they do in Sweden. Then my colleague agrees with me. He thinks it sounds like quite a good idea. The students can pay it back in ten years.

我的同事认为政府应该发给学生周薪。我肯定不同意他的看法。一些学生会想一辈子都做学生;然而，我的同事并不这样认为。他说他不是指很高的薪水，只是一种补贴。我觉得这不是好主意。我认为政府给学生提供免息借款会更好。瑞典就是这样做的。然后我的同事同意我的意见。他觉得这听起来是个不错的主意。学生可以在10年内偿还借款。
