On their first day they are wandering around New York City. 有两个人移民到美国，第一天便在纽约市内到处闲逛。 [00:14.27]After many hours of sightseeing both people are hungry. 逛了几个小时，两人都饿了， [00:18.13]They then come up to a street vendor selling hot dogs. 便想去卖热狗的路边摊买东西吃。 [00:22.22]One says to the other in a shocked tone, "My God. Do they eat dogs in America?" 其中一个人口气惊讶地对另一个说：“我的天，美国有在吃狗肉啊?” [00:30.04]"I don't know!" says the other, equally appalled. “我不知道耶!”另一个人同样惊讶地说道。 [00:34.06]"Well," says the first, "We're going to be Americans, so we must do as they do." “那么，”第一个人说：“既然我们要当美国人，那就得入乡随俗才行。” [00:39.20]They approach the vendor bravely.
