[00:00.58]Talking Parrot 会说话的鹦鹉 [00:08.20]A burglar broke into a house and was skulking as silently as he could when he heard a voice say "Jesus is watching". 一个夜贼钻进一栋房子里，正偷偷摸摸地走着，这时他听到一个声音说道:“耶稣正看着你呢。” [00:17.25]He stopped dead in his tracks and listened. 他立刻就僵在那里，竖起耳朵听。 [00:20.45]A minute went by and he heard nothing, so he started to move again. 一分钟过去了，他什么也没听见，于是又开始行动。 [00:26.12]"Jesus is watching", came the voice in the dark. “耶稣正看着你呢!”声音又从黑暗中传了过来。 [00:30.15]His eyes were adjusting to the light and he noticed a cage in the corner containing a parrot. 他的眼睛已经适应了暗光，看到角落里有个鸟笼，关着一只鹦鹉。 [00:36.10]"Was that you talking bird?" “是你在说话吗?” [00:38.30]The parrot said, "yes". 鹦鹉说:”是。” [00:41.01]"What's your name, little bird?" “你叫什么名字啊?” [00:43.17]"Clarence", the parrot said. “克拉伦斯。”鹦鹉说。 [00:45.44]"Clarence? who would name a bird Clarence?" , the burglar laughed. “克拉伦斯?谁给鸟起这么个名字?”夜贼笑道。 [00:50.44]The parrot said, "The same person who named the rottweiller Jesus"! 鹦鹉说:“就是那个把罗威那犬起名叫耶稣的那个人!”
