课文内容：
Aeroplanes are slowly driving me mad. I livenear an airport and passing planes can be heardnight and day. The airport was built years ago,but for some reason it could not be used then.Last year, however, it came into use. Over a hundredpeople must have been driven away from theirhomes by the noise. I am one of the few people left.Sometimes I think this house will be knocked downby a passing plane. I have been offered a large sum of money to go away, but I amdetermined to stay here. Everybody says I must be mad and they are probably right.
语法归纳：将来进行时和各种完成进行时的被动语态
英语中一般没有将来进行时和完成进行时的被动语态，如果要使用这些被动语态则要对其他时态作必要的改动„
将来进行时的被动讲态——改为将来时的被动语态;完成逬行时的被动语态——改为完成时的被动语态，比如：
1)我们讨论这个问题已经两天了。
主动语态：We have been discussing this problem for two days.(现在完成进行时)
被动语态：This problem has been discussed for two days.(现在完成时的被动语态)
2)这个问题我们明年再协商。
主动语态：We shall be discussing this problem next year.(将来进行时)
被动语态;Tlis problem will be discussed next year.(一般将来时的被动语态)
精讲笔记：
1.Aeroplanes are slowly driving me mad.
飞机正在逐渐把我逼疯。
语言点1 drive sb. mad使某人发疯
Earning money almost drives him mad. 赚钱差点把他逼疯了。
语言点2 关于“发疯”的经典口语表达：go mad发疯;nuts发狂的;insane患精神病的;bananas疯的;狂怒的
2.I live near an airport and passing planes can be heard night and day.
我住在一个机场附近，过往飞机日夜不绝于耳。
语言点1 near意为“在附近”，所指距离可近可远，此词作介词时意思较为含糊。
语言点2 be heard意为“被听到”，被动语态，强调作者不得不听的意思。
谲言点3 passingplanes意为“经过的飞机”，现在分词在此相当于形容词，作定语。相同用法举例：a cryingbaby 一个正在哭的宝宝 a dancing boy 一个正在跳舞的男孩 a standing teacher 一位站着的老师
语言点4 night and day意为“夜以继日”，词义关键体现在and―词上
3.The airport was built years ago, but for some reason it could not be used then.
这个机场是许多年前建的，但由于某种原因当时没能启用。
语言点1 was与过去时间状语years ago时态一致，实际在years ago前省去了many。
语言点2 for some reason因为某种原因(代表某种不确定或不想说明的原因)
For some reason，the television doesn’t work. 因为某种原因，电视机坏了。(我们不是修理电视机的专家，只知道坏了，不知道具体原因。)
语言点3 补充学习：by reason of = because of因为;with reason有理由
He thinks，with reason, that I do not want to leave.他有理由认为我不想离开。
