Lesson 23 A new house

课文内容：

I had a letter from my sister yesterday. She livesin Nigeria. In her letter, she said that she wouldcometo England next year. If she comes, shewill get a surprise. We are now living in a beautifulnew house inthe country. Work on it had begunbefore my sister left. The house was completed fivemonths ago. In my letter, I told her that she couldstay with us. The house has many large rooms andthere is a lovely garden.It is a very modern house, so it looks strange to some people. It mustbe the only modern house in the district.

语法归纳：

there be句型和it is句型之间的区别

一句话总结：there be句型和it is句型差别很大。具体如下：

1) there be意为“这有”，而it is意为“它是”。

2) there be后常接名词作主语，而it is后常接名词或形容词作表语。

3) it is中的it是主语，有可能作形式主语，而there be是该句型的谓语，

精讲笔记:

1、I had a letter from my sister yesterday.

昨天我收到了姐姐一封信。

语言点 本句等于：I received a letter from my sister yesterday.

如果这么表达则与Lesson4课文第一句句型相同。

2、She lives in Nigeria. In her letter, she said that she would come to England nextyear.

她住在尼日利亚。在信中她说明年地将来英国。

3、If she comes she uill get a surprise.

如果她来了，她将会感到非常惊喜。
