My old friend, Harrison, had lived in theMediterranean for many years before hereturned to England. He had often dreamed ofretiring in England and had planned to settledown in the country. He had no soonerreturned than he bought a fine house and wentto live there. Almost immediately he began tocomplain about the weather, for even though it wasstill summer, it rained continually and it was oftenbitterly cold. After so many years of sunshine,Harrison got a shock. He acted as if he had never lived in England before. In the end, it wasmore than he could bear. He had hardly had time tosettle down when he sold the house and leftthe country. The dream he had had for so many years ended there. Harrison had thought ofeverythingexcept the weather.
