Butpeople who are cut off not only from foreigntourists, but even from their own countrymencan be hostile to travellers.

　　语言点:much-travelled world为“复合形容词+n.”结构的短语，不能说busy world,busy指的是“事情多”。

　　人们总是以为偏僻的地方的村民们热情好客。

　　语言点1:句子结构分析:assume that…的意境比think that…要深的多。

　　语言点2: friendly and hospitable作表语。

　　3.But people who are cut off not only from foreign tourists, but even from their owncountrymen can be hostile to travellers.

　　但是，那些不但与外国旅游者隔绝，而且与本国同胞隔绝的人们有可能对游客抱有敌意。

　　语言点:can be hostile to的意思是“可能对…抱有敌意”。
