111. Road Safety 交通安全
Every year a lot of people are killed or injured in road accidents. How can we make crossing roads safer? It is fairly necessary to remember the following traffic rules.
每年有不少人在交通事故中伤亡。我们怎样才能保证交通安全呢?牢记如下交通规则是非常必要的。
First, when you ride a bike, keep to the right side of the road. Second, do not cross the road or turn left at a red traffic light. Third, give a hand signal if you want to turn or stop. Fourth, before crossing the road, stop and look both sides of your way, right and left. If the road is clear, it is safe to cross.
首先，骑车要靠右行;其次，遇见红灯时不能向左拐或横穿马路;第三，转弯或停车时要打手势;第四，在过马路前先停下来看看马路的两边，如果路上没有车辆你就可以安全通过了。
Finally, the correct way to cross is to walk quickly, but not to run, because if you run across the road, you may fall down.
最后，要迅速地过马路，但是不要跑，否则你就有可能会被撞倒.
What's more, if you see small children or old people waiting to cross the road, it is a kind deed to help them to cross in safety. We should teach small children not to play or ride on the roads.
还有，当你看见小孩和老人正等着要过马路时，要帮助老人或孩子安全穿过马路;我们应该教育小孩不要在马路上玩耍或骑车。
Always obey these rules, and you'll find it much safer to walk or ride on the road.
永远遵守这些规则，你就会发现行走在路上会安全得多。
