Let's get it straight.
咱们得把事情弄清楚。
get it straight 直译过来就是：“把它弄直理顺”，很容易联想到这个短语的引申意思：“把事情弄清楚”。因此，当美国人说"Let's get it straight."时，他/她要表达的意思就是:"Let's make it clear."、"Let's make certain of the fact."、"Let's find out the truth."。
