F:弗兰克先生，晚上好。来杯加冰的波本威士忌吗?
M:No. This time I'll try Chinese wine.
M:不了。这次我要品尝一下中国酒。
F:What about Mao Tai，one of the most famous liquors in China? It's good indeed. It never goes to the head.
F:茅台酒怎么样?这是中国最有名的酒之一。真的很不错，(不管喝多少)它也不上头。
M:Do people here drink a’lot of liquors?
M:这里的人很能喝酒吗?
F:Some do，some don't. Many people in the North are fond of liquors. I think it has something to do with the climate.
F:有些喝得多，有些不多。许多北方人喜欢喝酒。我想这跟气候有关。
M:Yes，it has. Some Mexicans are crazy. They drink a lot of liquors even on hot days. Have you ever heard of "Tequila Sauza"?
M:对，是有关。有些墨西哥人很疯狂，他们甚至在大热天也喝很多酒。你听说过“特基拉索查”(龙舌兰)吗?
F:Yes，it's a very well-known kind of spirits in Mexico. People drink it with salt and lemon.
F:听说过，一种很有名的墨西哥烈酒。人们喝这种酒时，还配上盐和柠檬。
M:Right. It's very strong，just like alcohol.(Frank sips Mao Tai.)
M:对。这种酒是很烈性的，就像酒精。(弗兰克呷了一口茅台酒。)
M:Oh，it's good. Are there any other famous Chinese liquors?
M:哦，真好喝。还有其他的中国名酒吗?
F:Yes，besides Mao Tai，we have Wu Liang Ye，Fen Jiu and so on.
F:有，除茅台酒外，还有五粮液、汾酒等。
M:They say that Shaoxing wine tastes quite good. What's it?
M:他们说绍兴酒很不错。这又是什么样的酒?
F:It's rice wine，a kind of still wine，somewhat like Japanese Sake. Shaoxing is a city in China.
F:绍兴酒是米酒，一种无挥发性的酒，有些像日本清酒。绍兴是中国的一个城市。
M:I see.
M:我明白了。
F:By the way，we also have some good red wine and white wine，such as Great Wall White Wine.
F:另外，我们还有一些好的红酒和白酒，如长城干白葡萄酒。
M:Thank you for telling me so much,I'll try them next time.
