A:I saw on TV that there is an entertainment item，Bungee in Beijing Longtanhu Park. Except that the height is not exiting enough.
A:我在电视上看到北京龙潭公园有蹦极娱乐项目，只可惜高度不够刺激。
B:You say how high can be exciting?
B:那你说多高才刺激呀?
A:The highest bungee spot in he world is located in Mount Kikicama，South Africa，which is 216 meters high. A cable car in a scenic spot in Switzerland is 160 meters high.
A:世界上最高的蹦极点位子南非的齐齐卡马山，有216米高呢。瑞士的一个风景点的缆车也有160米高。
B:I know that Frenchmen installed the Bungee cord between two tall buildings.
B:我知道法国人还把蹦极的绳索安置在两幢高楼之间。
A:It is said that Bungee was originally a grownup ceremony of the indigenous people of New Guinea. People stood on branches of the tree , which was over 30 meters high. Their feet were fastened with canes and they jumped off from where they stood. When they almost reached the ground，they suddenly stopped to prove their bravery and express that they were able to endure the hardships of life independently.
A:听说蹦极最初是新几内亚土著人的一种成人仪式。人站在30米高的树枝上，用藤条捆住脚躁往下跳，快接近地面时骤然停止，以此证明自己的勇敢，表示可以独自承受生活的磨难。
B:Luckily there is no such kind of "grown-up ceremony" any more.
B:多亏现在没有这种“成人仪式”了。
