第十章 代词 人称代词(Personal Pronouns)

　　1.英语有下面这些人称代词:

　　主格 I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they

　　宾格 me, you, him, her, it, us, you, them

　　2.人称代词作主语时用主格：

　　I (We) have a question.

　　我(们)有一个问题。

　　Can you answer it?

　　你(们)能回答吗?

　　Where is he (she) from?

　　他(她)是哪儿人?

　　3.人称代词作宾语或介词的宾语时需用宾格：

　　Tell me your name.

　　告诉我你的名字。

　　I am proud of him (her，them).

　　我为他(她，他们)感到骄傲。

　　Do it right now.

　　这事马上就办。

　　4.人称代词作表语时用宾格较多，如：

　　—Who's knocking at the door?

　　—It's me.

　　—谁敲门?

　　—是我。

　　If I were her，I wouldn't do it.

　　如果我是她，我不会这样做。

　　在下面结构中都常用主语：

　　It was he (she)，who did it.

　　这事是他(她)干的。

　　(但：It was us they were talking about.他们谈的是我们。)

　　5.在than后常用宾格，若后面有别的字，仍以用主格为好：

　　She is taller than me.

　　她比我高。

　　She worked harder than I did.

　　她比我用功。

　　人称代词还有一些特殊用法，例如we，you可泛指一般人，they可泛指某些人：

　　We are all apt to believe what we wish to believe.

　　我们(人们)常常相信我(他)们愿相信的东西。

　　You have to be careful with people you don't know.

　　和不认识的人打交道要小心。

　　They say it's going to be another cold winter.

　　据说今年冬天又很冷。

　　此外，she可代表国家、船只等，it可指天气、时间等。
