　　Laura : Hello?

　　Laura :您好?

　　Eric : Hi! Is Heather there?

　　Eric : 你好!Heather 在家吗?

　　Laura : May I know who’s speaking?

　　Laura : 请问您是?

　　Eric : This is Eric Martin.

　　Eric : 我是Eric Martin。

　　Laura : Heather's not here right now.

　　Laura : 现在不在。

　　Eric: Do you know when she’ll be back?

　　Eric : 请问你知道她什么时候回来吗?

　　Laura : She went to the store to buy some groceries. She might be back in another 20 minutes. Would you like to leave a message?

　　Laura : 她去百货超市买买东西去了。大概20分钟后回来。你要给她留信息吗?

　　Eric: Yes, would you please tell her Eric Martin called?

　　Eric : 好，您能告诉她Eric Martin打过电话吗?

　　Laura : Sure. I'll tell her you called once she’s back.

　　Laura : 好，她一回来我就告诉她。

　　Eric: OK. Thanks.

　　Eric : 好，谢谢。

　　Lisa: Hi! Can I speak to Mr. John Cain?

　　Lisa:你好，我想找John先生。

　　Deck: I’m sorry. He just left for a meeting. Is it something urgent?

　　Deck:抱歉，他刚去开会了，有什么急事吗?

　　Lisa: Well, I just need to ask him something about the printing job he gave us. Could you take a message for him?

　　Lisa:嗯，我想问问他关于他交给我们的打印工作的事，您能帮我给他留条信息吗?

　　Deck: Yeah, sure!

　　Deck:行，当然行!

　　Lisa: Okay, just let him know that the design hasn’t arrived yet, and we can’t keep the schedule if it doesn’t reach us within 2 hours.

　　Deck : Alright, I will tell him that.

　　Laura: Hi! May I speak with Mr. Martin?

　　Lisa: Mr. Martin is not at home. May I know who’s calling?

　　Laura: It’s Laura Pattinson. When can I talk to him?

　　Laura:我是Laura Pattinson。他什么时候才有空?

　　Lisa: I’m not sure when he’ll be back. Do you want to leave a message?

　　Lisa: 我不确定他什么时候回来。你想给他留个信息吗?

　　Laura: Yes, please. Could you remind him about tomorrow’s Association party? It’s important for him to be there on time.

　　Laura:嗯，好，谢谢。您能不能提醒他一下明天的联合会?明天他要准时出席，这对他很重要。

　　Lisa: Alright. I’ll let him know.

　　Lisa: 好，我会告诉他的。

　　Laura: Hey! Why weren’t you there at the party?

　　Eric: What party?

　　Laura: I left a message with your wife asking you to be there at the Association’s party. Didn’t you get it?

　　Eric: Ooops. She always pens down the messages for the calls I get in the day. I forgot to read yesterday’s.

　　Eric:啊呀。她总是写下我白天接到电话的信息，我忘记看昨天的了。

　　Laura: Fantastic! You just missed one of the most important business events!

　　Laura: 太好了!你刚错过了最重要的商业大事!

　　Eric: Never mind! There’ll be many other opportunities.
