Chapter Two The Witch Museum
第二章 巫师博物馆
School finishes at 3:30 p.m.
学校下午3:30放学。
Kelly and Megan meet their friends outside.
凯丽和梅格恩在校外与朋友见面。
"Do you have any ideas for Halloween party?" Kelly asks. "No, I don't," says Susan.
“万圣节聚会你有什么想法吗?”凯丽问。“不，我没有什么想法，”苏珊说。
"I have an idea," says Megan.
“我有一个主意，”梅格恩说。
"Let's visit one of the Salem Witch Museums!
“我们去参观其中一个巫师博物馆吧!
We can get many ideas from there."

"That's a good idea!" says Susan.

"There are a lot of scary things there. Remember, Salem is the "Witch City".

At the museum there are pictures of the witch hangings.

There are also the names of the Salem witches of 1692.

We can read about their terrible magic."

"Oh, how exciting!" say Megan and Kelly. "Let's go," says Susan.

The girls call Nick and Bill.
女孩们叫上尼克和比尔。
Together the five friends go to the museum.
五个朋友一起去了博物馆。
When they arrive it's late.
当他们到了那儿是，天色已晚。
"How many tickets do you want?" asks the attendant. "Five tickets, please," says Bill.
“要几张票?”售票员问。“请给五张，”比尔说。
"That's $10. Remember, the museum closes at 5 p.m. You only have half an hour."
“一共10美元。记住，博物馆下午5点关门。你们只有半个小时的时间。”
The five friends walk around the museum.
五个朋友走进的博物馆。
They look at the interesting exhibits.
他们看着这些有趣的展览品。
"Look, here are the names of the witches of 1692... and here are the pictures of the hangings," says Nick.
“看，这里有1692年女巫们的名字...还有这里有受绞刑的画，”尼克说。
"Look at this rope!" says Bill. "How scary!" say the girls.
“看这根绳子!”比尔说。“太恐怖了!”女孩们说。
"I'm going upstairs," says Megan. "Be careful," says Kelly.
“我要去楼上，”梅格恩说。“小心点，”凯丽说。
Megan laughs, "I'm not afraid of witches or ghosts."
梅格恩笑着说，“我不怕女巫或鬼。”
There are no visitors upstairs.
楼上没有参观者。
There is a sweet smell of roses in the air.
空气中有一股玫瑰花的芳香。
