As he thundered out this he made a rush at Bildad,but with a marvellous oblique, sliding celerity, Bildad for that time eluded him.

他一边破口大骂,一边冲到比勒达跟前,但是,这时,比勒达却出奇的神速,身子一闪,避开了他。

That'she; thank ye, Bildad. Now then, my young man, Ishmael's thy name, didn't ye say? Well then,down ye go here, Ishmael, for the three hundredth lay."

这两个负有主要和重大责任的船东这样骇人的吵架可把我吓呆了,我颇想打消一切的念头,不上这么一艘船权颇有疑问又是暂时给代管着的船只,我打门边一闪,让路给比勒达逃出去,因为这家伙,毫无疑问地,一定急于要避开法勒的盛怒。可是,使我诧异的是,他竟又十分泰然地坐到横木上去,看来毫无退却的意图。他似乎已经看惯了这个不知悔悟的法勒和他那副脾气了。至于法勒,脾气发过后,也好象是太平无事了,他也坐了下来,象一只绵羊似的,虽然他还微显抽挛,宛似精神仍很激动。"呸!"他最后啐了一下说..."风暴已经消失了吧,我想。比勒达,你磨鱼枪一向很在行,给我修修这支笔吧。我的小刀得上磨石啦,喏,谢谢你,比勒达。那么,小伙子,刚才你不是说你叫以实玛利么?好吧,这就给你写下来啦,以实玛利,三百分之一的拆账。"
