9月20日，为期四天的2022世界制造业大会在安徽省合肥市开幕。此次大会以“制造世界·创造美好”为主题，将举办展览、研讨会等各类重要活动近40场次。
The 2022 World Manufacturing Convention opened on Sept. 20 in Hefei, capital city of Anhui Province. Themed "Creating a beautiful world with manufacturing," the four-day event features nearly 40 events including exhibitions, seminars and other activities.

世界制造业大会从2018年起已连续成功举办四届。前四届大会累计集中签约项目2454个、合同引资额19682亿元，其中外资企业签约项目999个、合同引资额5200多亿元。
本届大会展览设在合肥滨湖国际会展中心，总面积5.9万平方米，展示全球先进制造的发展新成果。世界制造业大会展览包括序厅、大国制造专题展、“三首”产品展、“专精特新”展、工业设计展、工艺美术展等，并引入市场化展。征集的641家参展企业中，既有世界500强、中国500强企业，也有独角兽企业、专精特新“小巨人”企业。开幕式上首次设立大会发布活动，聚焦“智”“高”“新”等三大亮点，围绕新一代信息技术、高端装备制造、新能源汽车、新材料、新家电等新兴产业，重磅发布了一批新技术、新产品，充分展示制造业创新发展成果。此外，大会还进行了产教融合协议签约和重大项目签约。

中国将修订扩大《鼓励外商投资产业目录》，引导更多外资投向先进制造业、现代服务业、高新技术、节能环保等领域，投向中国中西部和东北地区。
China will revise and enlarge the encouraged industry catalogue to guide more foreign investment toward sectors such as advanced manufacturing, modern services, high and new technology, energy conservation and environmental protection, and toward the central, western and northeastern regions.
