12月14日，国家主席习近平在第十五届中国－拉美企业家高峰会开幕式上发表书面致辞。习近平指出，中国将坚持对外开放的基本国策，坚定奉行互利共赢的开放战略，坚持经济全球化正确方向，不断以中国新发展为世界提供新机遇，推动建设开放型世界经济，更好惠及包括拉美和加勒比国家在内的各国人民。
Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday delivered a written speech at the opening ceremony of the 15th China-Latin America Entrepreneurs Summit. Xi pointed out that China will adhere to the basic national policy of opening up, firmly pursue a win-win strategy of opening-up, keep to the right direction of economic globalization, continue to provide new opportunities for the world with China's new development, promote the building of an open world economy, and deliver more benefits to the people of all countries including Latin American and Caribbean countries (LAC).

中国-拉美企业家高峰会于2007年由中国贸促会倡导创立，是中国首个面向拉美和加勒比地区的经贸合作促进机制性平台。峰会每年在中国和拉美国家轮流举办，迄今已在中国、智利、哥伦比亚、秘鲁、哥斯达黎加、墨西哥、乌拉圭、巴拿马举办了十四届，被誉为“中拉务实合作的旗舰品牌”。

China-Latin America relations have entered a new era of equality, mutual benefit, innovation, openness and shared benefits. The business community is a new force for China-Latin America practical cooperation, as well as a builder and beneficiary of the growth of bilateral ties.
