Steve Bannon, a key player in President Trump’s rise to office has lost his job as head of the right wing website Breitbart news. The site's financial backers chose to remain loyal to the President who’s reacted furiously to Mr. Bannon’s withering comments about the Trump family in a new book.

He was speaking a day after landmark talks with North Korea. It insists its nuclear weapons are not up for discussion and says they are aimed at the United States, not at South Korea, Russia or China.
